YOUR NEW NORMAL
Here's what that actually looks like.
BEFORE CUB LINE
❌ A patient texts you at 10pm asking to move tomorrow's appointment
❌ You need to cancel last-minute for personal reasons, so you text from your own phone to reach them fast — and now they have your number forever
❌ You hesitate before calling a patient back — your name is about to pop up on their screen
❌ Your "day off" is really just ignoring texts and feeling guilty about it, or feeling obligated to answer your patients
❌ Family, friends, and patients are all reaching you at the same phone number and texting apps
❌ Giving a patient your personal cell feels unprofessional — like you're a friend doing them a favour, not running a practice
AFTER CUB LINE
🌿 Patients text your dedicated clinic number — you decide when you're reachable, even at 10pm
🌿 Cancel last-minute from CUB, and your personal number never enters the picture
🌿 Your clinic name pops up on their screen, not yours — call with confidence
🌿 Flip to Off Duty and CUB handles the auto-reply — no guilt, no obligation
🌿 One number for practice, one line for life — and they never cross, no second phone needed
🌿 Your clinic number is legitimate, expected, and entirely yours to share — patients see your practice name, not your personal one
Up and running in three steps.
That’s it.
1.
Claim your number
Pick a local 604, 778, 236, or 250 number as your dedicated clinic line. It's yours instantly — no porting, no carrier calls, no waiting.
2.
Share it like you mean it
Add it to your intake forms or email signature. Patients save it once — always clearly know it’s you, never a random number.
3.
Message, call, and log off
Text and call patients right from your device browser or phone. Flip to Off Duty when you're done, and CUB handles the rest.
Your patients never download anything or create an account — CUB is invisible to them. And you're never tied to one device: reply from your tablet, laptop, or phone, wherever you are.
Set up and send your first text in about 5 minutes.

Getting Started
-
CUB gives you a dedicated BC clinic phone number that lives right in your browser. Text and call patients from your clinic number without ever giving out your personal number — no second phone, no second SIM card.
-
Not yet. CUB is built specifically for BC practitioners — from PIPA compliance to BC-specific insurer billing guides. We're open to expanding to other provinces in the future, but there's no timeline yet.
-
You need a Google account to sign in and a device with a modern browser. Setup takes about 5 minutes and your clinic number is ready to use immediately.
-
CUB works on any device with a modern browser — Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone, and Android. No download required. Just open app.getcubsuite.com and sign in.
-
On iPad, use Safari for the best experience — it supports Add to Home Screen and push notifications. On Mac or Windows, use Chrome. On Android, use Chrome for the best experience. Tap the three-dot menu → Add to Home Screen to install it like an app.
-
Yes — open app.getcubsuite.com in Safari on your iPhone. For the best experience, tap Share → Add to Home Screen to install it like a native app.
-
Yes — add your CUB clinic number to your personal contacts with a name you'll recognize instantly, like "CUB Line" or "Clinic Line." This way you'll always know when a patient is calling back on your clinic line and never miss them.
-
Adding CUB to your home screen gives you the most stable experience. It removes the browser navigation bar, prevents accidental back button presses, and makes push notifications work more reliably. In Safari tap Share → Add to Home Screen → Add.
-
If CUB appears stuck on loading, simply close the app completely and reopen it from your home screen icon. If it still doesn't load, go to Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, then reopen CUB from your home screen.
-
If messages appear blank after waking your iPad, simply close CUB and reopen it from your home screen. This is a known limitation of web apps on iOS and takes just a second to fix.
Setup Guide
-
Go to app.getcubsuite.com and click Sign in with Google. Use the Google account you want associated with your CUB account.
-
Enter your name, clinic name, and profession type. This personalizes your quick action messages and helps patients recognize who is texting them.
-
This is the number CUB calls first when you initiate a voice call to a patient. Your personal number stays completely hidden — patients only ever see your clinic number on their caller ID.
-
Choose a BC area code (604, 778, 236, or 250) and search for available numbers. Pick one that feels right for your practice and claim it — this becomes your permanent clinic line.
-
Tap the hamburger menu in the top right to set your status. Active means you're available. In Session means you're with a patient. Off Duty means you're done for the day.
-
Go to Settings and write your auto-reply message. Enable it so patients automatically receive a warm response when you're Off Duty.
-
This is the most important step for a stable experience. In Safari tap Share → Add to Home Screen → Add. Once opened from your home screen, allow notifications when prompted so you never miss a patient message.
-
Tap the + button to start a new conversation. Enter your patient's number and use the Intro quick action to introduce your new clinic line.
Messaging
-
You give patients your clinic number just like you would a regular phone number. They text it from their phone and the message shows up instantly in your CUB inbox.
-
Yes — your clinic number appears as the sender on every message and call. We recommend introducing yourself the first time so patients save your number.
-
Every message is safely saved in your inbox. You'll receive a notification so you always know when something is waiting.
-
Absolutely — just click the + button to start a new conversation with any phone number. Perfect for a quick check-in, a pre-call heads up, or any direct message you want to send from your clinic line.
-
Use the Intro quick action chip in the message box. It sends a warm, professional introduction letting patients know this is your clinic line.
-
CUB currently supports text messages only. Image and file sharing is on our roadmap and coming soon. We recommend asking patients to send image files to your email in the meantime.
Voice Calls
-
When you call a patient through CUB, your personal phone rings first. Answer it and your patient's phone rings — you're connected, with your clinic number showing on their caller ID.
-
Your dedicated clinic number always shows — never your personal number.
-
Yes — if a patient calls your clinic number, CUB will forward the call to your personal phone. Your personal number stays completely hidden throughout.
-
Use the Pre-call quick action to send a text before you dial. It gives patients a heads up that an unfamiliar number is about to call — dramatically increasing the chance they'll pick up.
-
Yes, but you need to save your clinic number in your personal contacts first. Call Control screens calls from unknown numbers — once your clinic number is saved, it's recognized as trusted and calls connect normally. We also recommend sending your patient a Pre-call message before calling them — if they save your clinic number too, their Call Control won't block the call on their end either.

For Squarespace, you'll likely want 8 separate Accordion blocks (one per category), each preceded by a bold category label as its own text block, matching the "category header + accordion group" structure you had in Carrd. Want help thinking through that layout, or are you set to build it now that you have the content?
Just finished the getting started section. How does the design look? Question font seems big but I guess it works
Evaluated accordion layout and typography hierarchy concerns
Evaluated accordion layout and typography hierarchy concerns
A few observations:
On the question font size — you're right to flag it. Right now "What is CUB Line?" reads at nearly the same visual weight as your section headlines like "We're just getting started." That's too much emphasis for an FAQ trigger — the eye can't tell "this is a clickable question" from "this is a headline," which flattens the hierarchy. FAQ questions should feel like list items you scan quickly, not standalone statements.
I'd size these down significantly — something closer to your card titles from How It Works ("Claim your number," "Share it like you mean it") rather than your H1/H2 headline scale. Squarespace's Accordion block should let you pick a smaller heading style (Paragraph 1 or a Heading 3/4 equivalent) for the question text specifically, separate from the answer's paragraph style.
On the answer text — this part looks good. Reasonable size, readable line length, sits comfortably below the question.
On the background — this section is using the same saturated sage green (#588157) as Trust & Compliance right above it. That's two consecutive sections in the same strong color, which risks the "too much of one tone in a row" issue we caught earlier with Roadmap and Trust & Compliance. Since Trust & Compliance ends on this sage tone, FAQ might read better on white — gives the long scrollable list some breathing room, and creates a clean visual break before the reader dives into 8 categories of content.
One functional thing to check, not a design note: in the screenshot, several questions appear to have their answers showing simultaneously ("What is CUB Line?" answer is visible, but so are the next two questions right below it without their answers open). Worth confirming this is just the Squarespace editor showing everything in edit mode (normal — editors often preview differently than the live page) rather than the actual accordion defaulting to "all open." Quick way to check: preview or publish, then look at the live page — items should start collapsed with only the trigger question visible.
Want to adjust the question font size first, or check the live/preview behavior before moving to the next category?
Evaluated color palette adjustment for design consistency
Evaluated color palette adjustment for design consistency
Good call — since T&C is white now, using the saturated sage (#588157) for FAQ was creating two heavy-colored sections in a row that don't touch each other in tone (white sits between neither, since FAQ was sitting right after T&C). Switching to the light sage tint (#F0F4EE) — the same one How It Works uses — is a better choice here.
Why light sage works well for FAQ specifically:
It's soft enough not to compete with the 8 category headers and dense question list — a long, scrollable content section like this needs a quiet background, not a saturated one
It's not touching How It Works directly in the scroll order, so reusing that same light sage tone won't feel repetitive the way two adjacent identical sections would
White text (which the saturated sage needed for contrast) won't work well over light sage — you'll want dark slate (#2F3E46) for questions and your usual muted grey (#64748B) for answers, which is more comfortable to read across a long list anyway compared to white-on-color
One thing to double check once you switch: FAQ's white accordion trigger backgrounds (if Squarespace's block adds any white/card styling per item) should still read cleanly against light sage — shouldn't be an issue, but worth a glance once it's live.
Want to also revisit the question font size while you're in there, or tackle that after the background swap?
Should the main headline be 'FAQ'?
"FAQ" works, but it's the flattest, most generic heading on the whole page compared to what you've built everywhere else — "Here's what that actually looks like," "Up and running in three steps. That's it.," "Compliance isn't an afterthought. It's the foundation." Landing on plain "FAQ" after those would read as a sudden drop in voice, especially since this is the last big content section before Pricing.
A few options that keep the personality going:
"Questions? We've got answers." — simple, friendly, slightly playful without overdoing it
"Everything you need to know." — calm, confident, functions well as a section that covers a lot of ground
"Still have questions?" — frames the section as anticipating hesitation right before Pricing, which could work well positionally if FAQ sits right before someone's about to commit to a plan
"Before you dive in." — implies this is prep before signing up, ties nicely into Pricing being next
Given FAQ's job here is really to clear final hesitations before someone hits Pricing, I'd lean toward "Still have questions?" — it's honest about what the section is for, and doesn't try too hard to be clever right when someone wants quick, clear answers.
If you'd rather keep it plain and let the category labels (Getting Started, Setup Guide, etc.) do the work instead of the headline, "FAQ" as a short, functional label is a completely reasonable choice too — sometimes a utility section benefits from not trying to match the emotional tone of the rest of the page. Your call based on how "FAQ-as-utility" vs "FAQ-as-brand-voice" feels right for this specific section.
